Risk & Compliance Assistant (Legal)
Location: Kent (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to £30,000 depending on experience
Technology & Risk Recruitment is working with a leading law firm to recruit a Risk & Compliance Assistant.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to move into a Risk & Compliance Assistant role where you are yet to receive that title but have worked in a Risk & Compliance function within a law firm e.g. Paralegal or Administrator.
The role:
You’ll be a key support to the Risk & Compliance team, covering:
- Coordination of internal and external audits (Lexcel, AML, regulatory visits)
- File reviews and client due diligence checks
- Maintaining policies, procedures, and central registers
- Supporting training, risk meetings, and compliance projects
- Assisting with root cause analysis and professional negligence matters
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in risk or compliance (ideally within a legal setting)
- Confident communicator with excellent organisation skills
- Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Someone proactive, curious, and eager to build their compliance knowledge
