Position: Senior ServiceNow CMDB Consultant – Discovery
Location: Brussels (Hybrid)

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior ServiceNow CMDB Consultant (Discovery) to join a leading financial institution in Brussels. This role involves supporting the operation, maintenance, and enhancement of the Bank’s ServiceNow platform (ITSM and ITOM modules). You will play a key role in implementing ServiceNow Discovery, improving CMDB data models, and ensuring high-quality configuration item (CI) reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and implement requirements for ServiceNow Discovery.
- Review and enhance existing CMDB data models.
- Discover, adapt, and customize data patterns.
- Execute Discovery across defined scopes.
- Create value cases and analysis for ITOM Event Management.
- Maintain and develop new functionalities and integrations.
- Provide user support, training, and demos.
- Support expansion of ServiceNow usage within the Bank.
Required Skills & Experience
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery implementation, configuration, and execution.
- Strong knowledge of CMDB & CSDM frameworks.
- Expertise in Discovery patterns, CMDB 360, and IRE (Identification & Reconciliation Engine).
- Proficiency with scripting and data customization.
- Familiarity with advanced authentication methods (JEA, gMSA, NMAP).
- Experience in functional analysis.
Languages
- French or Dutch: active knowledge (understanding, speaking, writing technical documentation).
- The second language (French/Dutch): passive knowledge (understanding, reading).
- English: strong active knowledge (reading, writing technical documentation).

- Hybrid model – recommended 50% onsite in Brussels.
