Cloud Engineer – Dynatrace

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer with strong Dynatrace expertise to join a growing technology and security environment. You will be responsible for implementing and managing Dynatrace observability and security capabilities across AWS and Azure cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement Dynatrace Runtime Vulnerability Analytics (RVA) across cloud and containerised workloads.
- Deploy and manage Dynatrace OneAgent and ActiveGate across AWS and Azure.
- Implement Dynatrace security capabilities including Application Security, Attack Detection and Runtime Application Protection.
- Automate Dynatrace deployments and configuration using Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform.
- Integrate Dynatrace with AWS and Azure services, including EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, Logic Apps, Functions and App Services.
- Configure monitoring, alerting, dashboards, management zones, tagging and access policies.
- Support vulnerability identification, remediation and security operations.
- Work closely with Cloud, Application, Security and SRE teams.
- Contribute to SLOs/SLIs, incident management and reliability engineering practices.
Required Experience
- Dynatrace Certified – Associate or Professional certification is essential.
- Strong hands-on experience deploying, configuring and administering Dynatrace in enterprise environments.
- Experience with Dynatrace security features, particularly RVA and/or Application Security.
- Strong AWS experience, including EC2 and Elastic Beanstalk.
- Strong Azure experience, including Logic Apps, Function Apps and App Service.
- Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code technologies.
- Scripting/automation experience using Python, Bash or PowerShell.
- Good understanding of vulnerability management and SRE principles.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable: Kubernetes/OpenShift, CI/CD (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions), SIEM/SOAR integrations and experience within regulated environments.
