Position: D365 Project Manager – F&O and Business Central
Location: West Midlands
Contract Rate: £600 per day (Outside IR35)
Hybrid: 2 days onsite
Duration: 24 Months
Position Overview: Our client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) and Business Central projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with expertise in deploying ERP solutions and a focus on delivering exceptional results within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project management activities, including project planning, scoping, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and budget control.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into actionable project plans.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, consultants, and stakeholders, to ensure alignment with project objectives and deliverables.
- Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues or deviations from project plans.
- Provide regular project updates and status reports to stakeholders, communicating project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies effectively.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate project performance, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as a Project Manager, preferably in ERP implementations, with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) and Business Central.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices, with certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and Business Central modules, including configuration, customisation, and integration capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members at all levels.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with a track record of driving successful project outcomes and fostering collaboration within project teams.
- Flexibility to travel to client sites within the West Midlands region as needed.
