Overview
We are supporting a leading banking institution in Luxembourg in the search for an experienced Finance Project Manager to join their Organisation & PMO function. The role sits within a Corporate & Investment Banking environment and plays a key part in delivering strategic transformation initiatives, improving operating models, and supporting regulatory and business change across financial markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project management activities across business and strategic banking initiatives
- Ensure delivery of projects on time, within scope, and within budget
- Develop and maintain full project documentation (business cases, RAID logs, plans, reporting)
- Collect and analyse business requirements across multiple stakeholders
- Support process mapping, optimisation, and re-engineering initiatives
- Contribute to organisational design and regulatory change adaptation
- Participate in UAT phases for technical and business-driven projects
- Manage stakeholder relationships across business, IT, and senior management
- Report progress, risks, and issues to senior leadership and PMO governance forums
Requirements
- Degree in Management Engineering, Economics, Finance, Banking, or related field
- 2–3+ years’ experience in project management within financial services or banking
- Strong exposure to Corporate & Investment Banking or Financial Markets environments
- Experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and process improvement
- Understanding of UAT and delivery lifecycle in banking projects
- Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
