Network Engineer
Location: Luxembourg
Working Pattern: Initially on-site, with up to 2 days remote per week after the initial period
Employment Type: Long-term Contract – Day rate
Languages: Fluent French + English – both mandatory
Eligibility: EU citizens only
The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a mid-level Network Engineer to join their Infrastructure team and support a major network migration programme.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale network transformation project, collaborating with experienced Infrastructure and Network professionals to deliver critical migration activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the migration of network infrastructure from Check Point to Fortinet
- Assist with network configuration, deployment and troubleshooting
- Support the Infrastructure team throughout the migration project lifecycle
- Help ensure the successful delivery of network migration activities
- Work closely with Network and Infrastructure stakeholders
- Troubleshoot and resolve network infrastructure issues
- Contribute to maintaining a secure and stable network environment
Required Skills & Experience
- Solid experience in network engineering and network infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with Fortinet
- Hands-on experience with Check Point
- Experience supporting network migrations, configuration and troubleshooting activities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work on-site in Luxembourg for the initial period before moving to hybrid.
- Fluent French – mandatory
- English language skills – mandatory
- EU citizenship – mandatory
