Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Architect / AI Architect to join a leading banking client in Luxembourg. This role involves contributing to innovative AI projects, collaborating closely with internal teams, and ensuring the design and implementation of advanced AI-driven solutions that align with enterprise IT architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively contribute to the bank’s AI-related projects.
- Collaborate effectively with the Datalab, IT ADM, and IT IPS teams.
- Provide critical insights and recommendations based on industry best practices and prior experience.
- Ensure AI models and solutions integrate seamlessly into enterprise IT systems and processes.
Profile – Mandatory Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 6 years overall, including at least 3 years in a service delivery environment.
- Architecture Expertise: Strong background in IT design/architecture, with deep knowledge of infrastructure, micro-services, communication protocols, and data mastery.
- AI Knowledge:
- Clear understanding of the relationship between traditional AI and generative AI in banking.
- Ability to define and architect RAGs and Agents (at an IT/system level).
- Knowledge of machine learning vs. LLMs (not model training, but integration into systems).
- Banking Environment: Comfortable working in complex banking IT landscapes, including:
- GPU-based deliverables.
- Kubernetes workloads.
- Integration of legacy and modern applications.
- Multi-source data (sound, images, text, tabular data, high-volume data).
Technical Skills – Mandatory
- Databases: Strong expertise with Postgres & Oracle.
- Containerisation & Orchestration: Kubernetes, Helm, Docker.
- Scheduling & Automation: Scheduler tools.
- Data Environment: Big Data, Data Visualization, Vector DB, multi-modal AI technologies.
- Architecture Expertise: Database architecture, data modeling, IT/AI system design.
- AI Deployment: Experience deploying models on GPU.
- Enterprise IT Integration: Ability to design solutions compatible with enterprise IT ecosystems.
- Bonus: DevOps and AI deployment knowledge.
