ServiceNow Architect
Location: Belgium – Hybrid
Start: ASAP
Contract: Until the end of 2026, with potential extension
Working pattern: Full-time, hybrid
Languages: Dutch and/or French + English
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Architect to join a ServiceNow transformation programme in Belgium.
The role will focus on the continued development and optimisation of an existing ServiceNow CSM environment. You will work closely with the Business Analyst and Developer to analyse requirements, define the technical architecture and take ownership of more complex technical developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse business requirements from a technical and architectural perspective
- Define and maintain the technical architecture for the ServiceNow CSM environment
- Design improvements to case types, the case model and portal architecture
- Provide technical direction and support to ServiceNow Developers
- Take ownership of complex, hands-on development activities
- Contribute to Customer/Consumer Service Portal and Employee Center development
- Establish technical standards, configuration principles and best practices
- Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, performant and upgradeable
- Support the design of RBAC and integration architecture
- Conduct technical reviews and help maintain overall platform quality
Essential Experience
- 10+ years’ experience with ServiceNow
- Deep hands-on experience with ServiceNow CSM
- Proven experience in a ServiceNow Architect or Technical Lead role
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and data models
- Experience designing CSM case type and portal architecture
- Strong hands-on development skills using JavaScript/GlideScript, Flow Designer and UI Builder
- Experience with REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub and/or Inbound Actions
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow security architecture and RBAC
- Experience translating business requirements into robust technical solutions
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow best practices and upgradeability
- Experience working closely with Business Analysts and technical teams
Desirable
- ServiceNow CSA and/or CIS-CSM certification
- Experience within government or public-sector environments
- Experience with other ServiceNow modules such as ITSM or HRSD
- Experience optimising and evolving existing CSM implementations
- Experience with ServiceNow portals and Employee Centre
